With over 100 years of history behind me and hopefully many more before, this is our journey on the Green River Drift in 2020.
Friday, June 19 - Day Two:
Today, we gathered what we call "Wells Draw." This is a long draw that runs east and west from the old cow camp off of the Burma Road to the Alkali fence line. I wish I could tell you how long it is, but from a highway perspective, it is about as far from the East Green River Road to the fence line that heads south past the Burma Road...Please comment me if you have questions on this.

It was a long but productive day as our goal was to ride the Wells draw, push over the Rim ( same location we did yesterday), and gather a few of our neighbor's pairs (cows and calves) and yearlings to put on their private ground. We did this so we wouldn't have as many to sort on the 21st and make the day not as long.
My husband, France and I made a big loop back towards where we started in the morning with the pairs and yearlings. They moved well but didn't sort nearly as well since ended up gathering a few of our cattle along the way. I'm proud to say we got about 312 head off the desert between the two of us and eventually all of our cattle out.
